James "Cookie" Young ~ Lead Guitar & Vocals

Cookie came to The Utah All Star Band as a former member of the band "BONE." Cookie, Preston Kofoed and Keyboardist Dave Stone formed a nucleus that lasted more than two decades in the Salt Lake City area. An accomplished guitarist, Cook can match some of the very best note for note, including Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana and Mark Knopfler. Remember the TV shows, "Nightrider" and "The Fall Guy?"
